SINGAPORE GP SUSTAINABILITY POLICY STATEMENT
Singapore GP is weighing in on sustainability.
We recognise that every action counts and that we have a part to play in building a sustainable future for Singapore and beyond.
In line with Formula 1’s goal of reaching net zero by 2030, we are taking incremental steps to minimise our environmental footprint. We are rolling out more green initiatives and will keep them under review. We will also continue to create a positive impact socially as well as in the community.
Pillar 1: Reducing carbon and environmental footprint
We are committed to improving energy and resource efficiency and switching to green energy to minimise our carbon footprint, as well as complying with relevant environmental and sustainability policies and regulations by keeping pollution to the minimum and driving continual improvements.
Pillar 2: Towards a circular economy
We are committed to adopting and promoting circular economy to encourage the reuse of existing materials for as long as possible. We are taking steps to reduce waste.
Pillar 3: Creating positive impact in the community
We are committed to leveraging the unifying power of sport to create employment, volunteering, educational and entertainment opportunities for the local community.
While Singapore GP’s management will direct the implementation and monitoring of this Sustainability Policy, we expect all employees and persons working on our behalf to share the above commitments. Everyone is encouraged and empowered to speak up and act to ensure that we uphold the principles of this Policy.
