4,500 fans to experience the Formula 1 pit lane up close as ballots open for the Thursday Pit Lane Experience

2 September 2026, Singapore — Race promoter Singapore GP Pte Ltd has opened the public ballot for the highly anticipated Thursday Pit Lane Experience, giving Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents the opportunity to get closer to the world of Formula 1® ahead of the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026.

Taking place on Thursday, 8 October 2026, the Thursday Pit Lane Experience offers a rare behind-the-scenes glimpse into race preparations before the Circuit Park officially opens for the race weekend.

Up to 4,500 fans will have the chance to walk down the pit lane, view the Formula 1® team garages and cars up close, and soak in the atmosphere as teams gear up for the action ahead. In addition to the pit lane walk, attendees will be able to explore the Zone 1 F1 Village and enjoy interactive activities available on the evening.

The ballot is open to all Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents, and participants do not need to be ticketholders to enter. Each successful applicant will receive a pair of tickets to the event, making it a fantastic opportunity for motorsport fans and newcomers alike to experience the excitement of Formula 1® from inside the Marina Bay Street Circuit.

The Thursday Pit Lane Experience ballot opens on 2 September 2026, 10:00am and will remain open until 18 September 2026, 11:59pm (Singapore Time).
