Strong ticket sales tradition continues for the 2014 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX
21 September 2014, Singapore – The 2014 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX has recorded the third highest attendance ever. Over 84,454 general walkabout, grandstand and hospitality patrons will attend the seventh edition of the night race today, with a total of 253,362 visitors at the Marina Bay Street Circuit over the three-day sold out weekend.
Meanwhile, spectators can look forward to plenty of highlights. Patrons can expect a spectacular climax for the 2014 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX. The race will start at 8pm, with Lewis Hamilton in pole position, his Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One teammate Nico Rosberg in second and Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull Racing third on the starting grid.
Other highlights include the showdown from the Masters Historic Formula One and Porsche Carrera Cup Asia support races, performances by Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Ziggy Marley as well as the Formula One™ Drivers Track Parade.
‘Super early’ start for 2015
Singapore plays host to the Grand Prix for the eighth time in 2015 with the race falling in the 50th anniversary year of Singapore’s independence. Fans of the night race can already purchase their tickets for the 2015
FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX, which is slated for 18, 19 and 20 September.
Three-day tickets for the Pit, Stamford, Padang and Bay Grandstands are on sale at Super Early Bird prices, with significant savings of up to 30% off regular rates from now until 3 October 2014 (08.59am, Singapore time).
