Singapore GP Releases Marina Pit Grandstand to Meet Strong Demand in Zone 1
09 September 2010 – Singapore GP is releasing an additional new prime seating category Marina Pit Grandstand to meet the strong demand for grandstand seats in Zone 1. Located opposite the end of the Pit Lane, the Marina Pit Grandstand offers excellent vantage points of the cars racing along the Pit Straight as they approach Turn 1 as well as a close-up look at the cars as they prepare to exit the Pit Lane.
With limited inventory available in the Marina Pit Grandstand, organisers expect the 398 passes available per day to sell out fast. The three-day ticket is priced at S$1,288. Of the only two other grandstands still available in Zone 1, the Turn 1 and Turn 2 Grandstands are close to selling out. Pit Grandstand, Republic (Turn 3) Grandstand, Esplanade Waterfront Grandstand, Connaught Grandstand, 3-Day Zone 4 Walkabout and Premier Walkabout are all sold out.
As with all other three-day grandstand and walkabout passes, Marina Pit Grandstand ticketholders can access the LG Live at 2010 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX stage where headliners Mariah Carey, Missy Elliot, Adam Lambert and Daughtry will be performing.
The Marina Pit Grandstand is just a stone's throw away from the Chippendales clustered area only accessible to Zone 1 ticketholders aged 18 and above. This entertainment tent is adjoined to a premium wine bar The Vine and Hard Rock Café so patrons can enjoy a drink or grab a snack in addition to watching the Chippendales perform their "Ultimate Girls Night Out" routine.
Single-day Zone 4 walkabout tickets are still available in limited quantity for Friday ($38), Saturday ($108) and Sunday ($128).
