Event Guide

Make the most of your time at the Marina Bay Street Circuit with the following tips.

Singapore GP is committed to providing an inclusive environment for all patrons. As a street circuit, we have to work around existing landmarks and infrastructure and whilst many areas within the Circuit Park are accessible, in many instances, the condition of several walkways as well as the positions of the gates, barriers, overpasses and underpasses* restrict access to various parts of the terrain on wheelchair or for persons with limited mobility. Please refer to the map for recommended routes around the Circuit Park for patrons with reduced mobility. *Overpasses do not have lifts for wheelchair access nor does the main underpass that connects the four sections of Zone 4.

Getting from Zone 1 to Zone 4

To access Zone 4 (e.g., to view the Padang concerts) we recommend that patrons in wheelchair use the following route for ease of movement:

  1. Exit Zone 1 through Gate 1
  2. Proceed to MRT Exit H (along 6 Battery Road) and take the lift to the street level.
  3. Take the Circle Line train from Nicoll Highway MRT Station to Dhoby Ghaut MRT Station. Switch to the North-South line and head towards Raffles Place MRT Station.
  4. Follow the signs towards Cavenagh Bridge, and re-enter the Circuit Park via Gate 4 (Empress), approximately 10 minutes away.
  5. From here, patrons can access the Padang and Esplanade Park via the underpass at the foot of the Anderson Bridge.
  6. Alternatively, patrons in wheelchairs can access the Esplanade, Downtown and the main Padang stage in Zone 4 using the track after the final track activity. Please note that this route will take approximately one hour, and can only commence after the final safety checks has been completed.

Getting around Zone 4

Patrons with mobility issues can access the wheelchair-accessible platform at the Padang in Zone 4 to catch the nightly concerts at the Padang Stage, on a first come, first serve basis.

Whilst there are some kerbs on either side of Connaught Drive, most of Zone 4 is accessible via paved or tiled pathways. Due to the positions of the Circuit Park's gates, barriers, overpasses and underpasses that will prohibit movement, it is recommended that patrons on wheelchairs use Gate 4 (closest MRT: Raffles Place) to access Zone 4.
