James Murphy is an American musician, DJ, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is most well-known for his musical project LCD Soundsystem which gained attention for the song Losing My Edge in 2002 and his self-titled debut album released in 2005 which gained critical acclaim and a Grammy Award nomination for Best Electronic/Dance Album.
