Race promoter Singapore GP Pte Ltd (SGP) is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the position of Security Manager/Senior Manager for the Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026.
Working closely with government agencies to ensure all requirements are met, you will be required to lead and engage with security agencies, manage the recruitment and training of event hire security managers, and tend to administrative matters. You will take the lead in developing security plans and work effectively with the team to develop briefing and training modules for all security managers and officers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of the recruitment of event hire security managers, including contract negotiations, invoicing and billing matters
- Accreditation management for security agencies and managers
- Develop training and briefing modules for security agencies and managers
- Setting up and leading the Event Control Room on the week of the event, coordinating and facilitating any key crowd movements throughout the Circuit Park, and working closely with all internal departments and stakeholders
- Managing fire safety partners and developing the emergency and evacuation plans for Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) approval, and working alongside internal departments to ensure all SCDF’s requirements are met
- Support road closure operations coordinating with LTA and Security agencies as well as internal departments.
Key Requirements:
- At least 7 years of experience in a security or operations role in events
- Proven ability to collaborate and communicate with government agencies
- Good understanding of the local market to manage contract negotiations, as well as experienced in managing budgets
- Strong multi-tasking and organisational skills, with the ability to adapt to on-going changes
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills across all levels, with the ability to confidently lead training sessions and conduct briefings
- Able to work over weekends and extended hours when required
