11 October 2026, Singapore − Fans of the Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix turned up in droves for the 17th edition at the home of Formula 1 night racing, with 301,294 people - the second-highest attendance on record and the highest since the track change in 2023 - descending on the Marina Bay Street Circuit over another sold-out weekend.
On-track, meanwhile, the uncertainty that makes Marina Bay Street Circuit such a magical place to go racing is clearly on show as the 22 drivers prepare for the 62-lap main event.
The fans packed grandstands and walkabout platforms to enjoy the incident-packed debut of the F1 Sprint Race in Singapore, won by a masterful Max Verstappen.
This year also set a new record for hospitality attendance. Guests can choose from more than 11 hospitality offerings, including the Formula 1 Paddock Club™ and TWENTY3, which features pop-up restaurants helmed by chefs holding a collective 30 Michelin stars.
Can the 29-year-old Red Bull star score his first victory and complete a Marina Bay clean sweep? Without a pole position or race win in his previous visits, Red Bull’s Flying Dutchman added pole for the Grand Prix to his dazzling 2026 performance.
“It’s great to come to a circuit where we’ve struggled in the past and be competitive,” he said after his Sprint win. “We’ve done everything right up until now - but the most important thing tomorrow will be getting a clean start.”
If Sprint racing is new on the track, off the track, new features introduced this year have also been extremely well received; they include a brand-new floating Barge Stage in Zone 1, which featured DJ Snake, Major Lazer Soundsystem and Rev Run on the deck, and an expanded Waterside enclave in Zone 4, where fans refuelled under the lush canopy of trees.
Race Day continues with a power-packed entertainment line-up featuring Lana Del Rey, Janet Jackson, James Arthur, Mark Ronson, and more.
