Sixth edition of the FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX clocks highest attendance since 2008

22 September, Singapore - The sixth instalment of the FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX has recorded the highest attendance since the inaugural 2008 race.

Over 87,509 general walkabout, grandstand and hospitality patrons attended the 2013 FORMULA 1 SINGTEL SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX today, with a total of 262,527 visitors at the Marina Bay Street Circuit over the three-day sell-out race weekend.

The festivities continue at the Marina Bay Street Circuit today with even more track action from Formula One™, GP2, and Porsche Carrera Cup Asia.

Other highlights include performances by Rihanna and Tom Jones as well as the Formula One™ Drivers Track Parade.

‘Super early’ start for 2014

Fans of the night race can now buy their tickets early for the 2014 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX, which is slated for 19, 20, 21 September 2014 (subject to confirmation).

Three-day tickets for the Pit, Connaught, Esplanade Waterfront, Padang and Bay Grandstands are already on sale at ‘super early bird’ prices, with significant discounts of up to 30% off regular rates from now until 31 October 2013 (11.59pm, Singapore time).
