Senior Retail Cashier (Part-Time, Contract Period: September 2024)

Race promoter Singapore GP Pte Ltd is seeking dynamic individuals to fill the position of Senior Retail Cashier for the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2024.

Overview of role:

• Manage a team of retail cashiers.
• Handle sales transactions on Point-of-Sales (POS) machines.
• Working together with Senior Retail Associates on sales transaction procedures at respective booths.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Cashiering duties.
• Manage cash float, POS transactions (cash and credit card).
• Managing sales transactions via various payment modes and handling cashier/POS discrepancies, as well as open and end of shift settlement on POS system.
• Managing staff/crew welfare and attendance.
• General housekeeping of merchandise booth.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in managing a team of cashiers
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and sales driven
• Availability for training days and all event days
• Comfortable working under outdoor weather conditions
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team
