Singapore GP launches single-day walkabout tickets for the 2008 FORMULA 1™ SingTel Singapore Grand Prix Singapore
22 April 2008

Singapore, 22 April 2008 - Singapore GP will be releasing single-day walkabout tickets for the 2008 FORMULA 1™ SingTel Singapore Grand Prix on 26 April 2008.

The single-day passes will be available for walkabout tickets and are priced at S$38 for Friday (26 September), S$58 for Saturday (27 September) and S$108 for Sunday (26 September). Tickets are subject to availability.

Single-day concessions are also made available for youths (aged seven to 15) and seniors (aged 60 and above). The youth and senior concession offers an approximately ten percent discount, with the tickets priced at S$34 for Friday, S$52 for Saturday and S$98 for Sunday. Youths and seniors will have to present proof of age upon entering the circuit.

Each person can buy up to eight tickets (a combination of full price and concession tickets) per transaction. This is to ensure that the race is available to as wide an audience as possible.

Walkabout spectators will be able to enjoy the action up-close from various location points around the circuit. To ensure that spectators get a great view of the race, there will be a number of bleachers located along some of the prime trackside viewing locations around the walkabout areas.

Apart from the numerous food, beverage and entertainment outlets that can be found all over the circuit park, spectators will also enjoy selected outlets at the Esplanade and the Singapore Flyer. (Please refer to the attached for specific walkabout areas.)

General walkabout ticket holders can walk around the entire circuit park except into the Northern Loop (which includes the Paddock, Pit Building, Pit Grandstands and Turns 1, 2 and 3) and restricted areas (safety and technical zones).

As the title sponsor of the race, SingTel is offering its customers the advantage of purchasing the single-day walkabout tickets from the 23rd to 25th April 2008, before they are officially released for general sale*. Subscribers will need to produce their recent SingTel bill or SingTel mobile phone as proof before purchase. *Additional details will be announced in a press conference organised by SingTel on 22 April 2008.
