Singapore GP is inviting candidates to be a part of Asia’s biggest motorsports extravaganza, the 2015 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX. To ensure an equally spectacular event on and off track, we are seeking exceptional and motivated individuals to join us to fill the following contract positions:

Operations Team

Singapore GP and partner companies Live Nation Lushington and Blue Sky Events are seeking to recruit two highly motivated individuals to be part of our event delivery for FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX and the various projects under the two partner companies.

ENTERTAINMENT MANAGER
(Joint role for Singapore GP, Live Nation Lushington and Blue Sky Events)

Scope involves assisting the Directors in talent offers and contracting, budgeting, artiste rider fulfilment, support and event planning, flights, ground transport and accommodation coordination. The role demands active participation in infrastructure planning for backstage layouts and internal fit-outs, on top of conducting site inspections.

You will co-manage an on-ground crew and minute-by-minute scheduling during events.

Key Requirements:

    1. At least 3 years experience in a similar capacity/industry
    2. Strong problem-solving skills in dynamic situations
    3. Ability to work extended hours and work well under pressure
    4. Ability to multi-task, problem-solve and accommodate ongoing on-ground changes
    5. Strong interpersonal skills, team camaraderie and leadership abilities

ENTERTAINMENT COORDINATOR
(Singapore GP)

You will assist the Director of Operations to procure event accreditation for the entertainment team and artistes, facilitate invoice management, and interface with government agencies for permit and license applications. You will also be required to assist in the production of the crew training programmes, as well as to coordinate the logistics for the entertainment team, which includes the planning the artistes’ transport schedules and briefing artistes regarding event security screening and movement procedures.

Key Requirements:

    1. At least 2 years experience in a similar capacity/industry
    2. Strong problem-solving skills in dynamic situations
    3. Ability to work well under pressure
    4. Ability to multi-task and accommodate ongoing on-ground changes
    5. Strong interpersonal skills, team camaraderie and positive attitude

Ticketing Team

Ticketing Coordinators
2 contract positions:

  1. April to mid-October
  2. June to mid-October

You will support the Ticketing Team by managing in-house ticketing operations, respond to customer enquiries, process ticket bookings and facilitate ticket fulfilment. In addition, you will provide sales and logistics support for ticket orders from corporate groups and overseas travel agents.

Key Requirements:

    1. Experience in a customer service / administrative role preferred
    2. Good written and communications skills with the ability to handle customers and vendors
    3. Strong team player who is proactive, meticulous, resourceful and willing to learn
    4. Able to work under deadline pressure, quick thinker and an effective problem solver
    5. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel and Word)

Partnership Sales Team

Partnership Sales Coordinator
(Contract position – June to October)

Supporting the partnership sales and ticketing team, you will be required to process and fulfil ticket orders, manage onsite ticket collection as well as reconciliation of accounts. You will also assist in the coordination of partners’ sales and marketing efforts.

Accreditation Team

Accreditation Coordinator
(Contract position – April to October)

A key member of the Accreditation team, you will be required to work with key partners and stakeholders to ensure all qualified personnel are accredited with the proper access passes and decals. You will also work with third-party vendors in the enhancement and development process of the accreditation system.

Marketing Team

Front-end/back-end developer

Singapore GP's appointed digital agency, Codigo, is looking for suitable candidates to fill the position of a front-end/back-end developer. The successful candidate will be offered a secondment to Singapore GP Pte Ltd.

Success on the track is all about attention to detail and teamwork. In the same way, this developer needs to be an integral part of the team, work under the occasional pressure situation, and be passionate to create work that is designed beautifully and functions perfectly.

Responsibilities:
From layout to function, the PHP Web Developer is in-charge of designing, coding and modifying the existing/new projects. You will be required to:
• Build and deploy web-based applications
• Manage MySql databases
• Build REST APIs based on requirements
• Code additional pages to existing site
• Make amends to existing pages
• Make minor back-end changes to existing site
• Code EDMs
• Create and code flash display banners

Key Requirements:
• Strong proficiency in PHP web application development, PHP frameworks such as Laravel as well as other web technologies including but not limited to JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML, HTML5.
• Understanding Mobile Application development flow and must familiar with iOS/Android applications
• Prior experience in managing both SQL database including but not limited to MySQL and Mongo DB.
• Strong understanding of git and git flow as well as experience in using version control tools such as Github and Bitbucket.
• Knowledge and experience about implementing RESTful web services.
• Flash knowledge and experience in banner creation with eyeblaster tagging.
• Knowledge of server side technology and social media integration for mediums such as Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Tumblr, Instagram etc.
• Meticulous, detailed oriented and organised
• Self-motivated and ability to meet critical deadlines

GRAPHIC DESIGNER INTERN
Singapore GP

Reporting to the Director of Advertising and Marketing, you will work closely with our Production Manager and In-house Designers. We want someone who has got the creative spark, a solid grasp on design fundamentals and a drive to learn more.

You will work on various production projects in different mediums under the guidance of our creative team. Apart from demonstrating strong graphic design, production and communication skills, you should possess a keen attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality as well as be able to work effectively in a team.

This is for an intern position starting immediately till the end of September 2015.

Key Requirements
1. Assist our creative team in various design projects
2. Project coordination and assisting with special projects as needed
3. Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud/Suite, in particular Photoshop and Illustrator
4. Show passion and have strong interest in Graphic Design
5. Singaporean/PR only
