Singapore GP is inviting candidates to be a part of Asia’s biggest motorsports extravaganza, the 2015 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX. To ensure an equally spectacular event on and off track, we are seeking exceptional and motivated individuals to join us to fill the following contract positions:

Corporate Sales Team


A key member of the sales team, you will be responsible for achieving sales targets by representing the suite of hospitality products for the FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX. Reporting to the Sales Director, you will manage the existing portfolio of clients and seek opportunities to generate new business. You will also be required to work closely with internal and external stakeholders, vendors and consultants to ensure clients’ logistical and operational needs are met.


• A minimum of three years experience in sales, ideally with a proven track record in closing sales in the luxury or
  FMCG industry

• A professional with excellent communication and social skills, and an outgoing personality
• Able to work in a team and independantly
• Able to multi-task under deadline pressure, result-oriented and an effective problem solver
• A genuine passion for event sales and understanding of the hospitality industry
• A fluency in Mandarin is advantageous to liaise with clients from Greater China

Operations Team

Off-Track Spectator Medical Team

Singapore GP is looking for dedicated volunteer doctors and nurses to form the Off-Track Spectator Medical Team, which provides medical and first-aid services to patrons and staff at the 2015 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX (18 - 20 September).

Reporting to the Chief Medical Officer (Spectator), successful candidates will be strategically located throughout the Circuit Park in the following areas.

Spectator Medical Command Centre
   Oversees the medical operations, personnel and logistics.

Advanced Medical Post
   Staffed by doctors and nurses who are capable of providing Basic to Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

First-Aid Post
   Staffed by nurses and/or first-aiders to provide first aid to patrons.

Roving Medical Team
   Medical team will make rounds along designated routes on bicycles to provide medical aid where required.


• Doctors must be registered with the Singapore Medical Council, and hold a valid ACLS certification.

• Nurses must be registered with the Singapore Nursing Board, and hold a valid BCLS (with AED) certification.


    1. Meals will be provided throughout the duration of the operation hours (1500hr to 0030hrs).
    2. Volunteers will be remunerated by Singapore GP in kind.
    3. Transportation is not provided. During the race weekend, public transportation operating hours will be extended and volunteers are encouraged to utilise these.
    4. There will be a briefing for all successful volunteers 2 to 3 weeks before the event.

Marketing Team

Front-end / Back-end Developer

Success on the track is all about attention to detail and teamwork. In the same way, this developer needs to be an integral part of the team, work under the occasional pressure situation, and be passionate to create work that is designed beautifully and functions perfectly.

Job Description:

From layout to function, the PHP Web Developer is responsible for designing, coding and modifying the existing/new projects. You will be required to:

• Build and deploy web-based applications
• Manage MySql databases
• Build REST APIs based on requirements
• Code additional pages to existing site
• Make amends to existing pages
• Make minor back-end changes to existing site
• Code EDMs
• Create and code flash display banners

Skill Requirement:

• Strong proficiency in PHP web application development, PHP frameworks such as Laravel as well as other web technologies including but not limited to JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, HTML, HTML5.
• Understanding Mobile Application development flow and must be familiar with iOS/Android applications
• Prior experience in managing both SQL database including but not limited to MySQL and Mongo DB.
• Strong understanding of git and git flow as well as experience in using version control tools such as Github and Bitbucket.
• Knowledge and experience about implementing RESTful web services.
• Flash knowledge and experience in banner creation with eyeblaster tagging.

Knowledge of the following web technology would be preferred:

• Server side technology
• Social media integration. Facebook, Twitter, Google Plus, Tumblr, Instagram etc


• Meticulous, detailed oriented and organised
• Self motivated and ability to meet critical deadlines
• Possess good interpersonal skills
• Required to work independently as well as existing teams


• At least a Diploma or Advanced/ Higher/ Graduate Diploma in Computer Science/IT or any related disciplines.
