Singapore GP is inviting candidates to be a part of Asia’s biggest motorsports extravaganza, the 2015 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX. To ensure an equally spectacular event on and off track, we are seeking exceptional and motivated individuals to join us to fill the following contract positions:

Operations Team

Traffic & Transport Co-ordinator
Immediate to November

Reporting to the Director of Operations & Security, you will manage the logistics and inventory of assets under the Traffic and Transport department. You will be required to co-ordinate and liaise with third party vendors as well as stakeholders with regards to road closures, conduct site inspections and briefings, traffic deployment and general transport requirements for the Event.

Key Requirements:

    1. Possess strong problem solving skills
    2. Ability to multi-task and work independently
    3. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
    4. Physically fit and enjoy the outdoors, willing to work long hours and on weekends

Circuit Park Security Supervisors
September 16 - 21

You will be required to manage a group of security forces (armed protection officers and outsourced security agencies). You and your team members will be tasked to deploy crowd control measures, manage the general safety in the area and assist the Operations team during dispersal. As a resourceful team player, you must be a quick thinker and an effective problem solver. Additionally, you will need to attend and conduct briefing and site recces on select weekends starting from July onwards.

Key Requirements:

    1. Ability to lead a team and respond to emergency & security incidences
    2. Helpful, mature and meticulous with a friendly and personable disposition
    3. Physically fit and enjoy the outdoors, willing to work long hours, on shift and weekends
    4. Experience in event security preferred

Ticketing Team

Ticketing Coordinators
2 contract positions:

  1. April to mid-October
  2. June to mid-October

You will support the Ticketing Team by managing in-house ticketing operations, respond to customer enquiries, process ticket bookings and facilitate ticket fulfilment. In addition, you will provide sales and logistics support for ticket orders from corporate groups and overseas travel agents.

Key Requirements:

    1. Experience in a customer service / administrative role preferred
    2. Good written and communications skills with the ability to handle customers and vendors
    3. Strong team player who is proactive, meticulous, resourceful and willing to learn
    4. Able to work under deadline pressure, quick thinker and an effective problem solver
    5. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel and Word)
    6. Willing to work long hours, on shift and weekends

Partnership Sales Team

Partnership Sales Coordinator
(Contract position – June to October)

Supporting the partnership sales and ticketing team, you will be required to process and fulfil ticket orders, manage onsite ticket collection as well as reconciliation of accounts. You will also assist in the coordination of partners’ sales and marketing efforts.

Key Requirements:

    1. Experience in an events / customer relations / administrative role preferred
    2. Good written and communications skills with the ability to handle customers and third-party vendors
    3. Helpful, mature and meticulous with a friendly and personable disposition

Accreditation Team

Accreditation Coordinator
(Contract position – April to October)

A key member of the Accreditation team, you will be required to work with key partners and stakeholders to ensure all qualified personnel are accredited with the proper access passes and decals. You will also work with third-party vendors in the enhancement and development process of the accreditation system.

Key Requirements:

    1. Able to work under deadline pressure, quick thinker and an effective problem solver
    2. Good interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to handle customers and third-party vendors
    3. Strong team player who is analytical, meticulous, resourceful and organised
    4. Able to learn quickly and work independently
