Singapore GP is inviting candidates to be a part of Asia’s biggest motorsports extravaganza, the 2017 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX. To ensure an equally spectacular event on and off track, we are seeking exceptional and motivated individuals to join us to fill the following positions:

TEMPORARY POSITIONS

Paddock Club™ Manager (Operations and Training)
(Short-term contract: 21 August - Friday 22 September, 2017)

As a key part of the Paddock Club operations team, you will be responsible for the operations and overall guest experience at the Paddock Club arrival reception. This will include the logistics for a smooth arrival and departure, transportation management and the guest experience at the Paddock Club’s restaurants, bars and activity areas. You will also be required to formulate and conduct staff training and briefing sessions in line with the Paddock Club™ operating requirements.

A quick thinker and an effective problem solver, you should be able to work under deadline pressure and have proven leadership capabilities to inspire and direct a large team. You should also be comfortable with managing large numbers of guests at an attraction or event.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years relevant working experience with a good track record in the hospitality or events industry.
• At least a Diploma in Business Studies, Hospitality, Tourism or other related industry
• Proven leadership, strategic decision-making and detailed planning skills
• Physically fit and enjoy working outdoors
• Experience in developing and delivering guests service training programmes
• Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills. Preferably helpful, matured and meticulous with a friendly disposition.
• Able to work under pressure, quick thinker and solutions driven
• Willing to work long hours and some weekends
• Proficient in the English language as well as in desktop computer applications (Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and Word)

Paddock Club™ Coordinator (Client Liaison and Accreditation)
(Short-term contract: July – September 2017)

Reporting to the Paddock Club™ Director, you will be working directly with Paddock Club™ clients on their ticketing and accreditation requirements for event crew. You will be required to liaise with third-party vendors and internal departments to ensure all information is clearly communicated and instructions are executed correctly. These include, but are not limited to, the coordination of last minute ticketing and accreditation requests for Paddock Club™ and ensuring all changes are communicated to all relevant team members in a timely manner.

In addition, you will be required to support the general Paddock Club™ operations onsite and prepare and update documentation for the management team.

An organised, process driven individual with good interpersonal skills, you should be able to demonstrate strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure.

Key Requirements:

• Experienced in completion of detailed documentation in a pressurised, time sensitive environment

Marketing Manager or Senior Marketing Executive
(6-month contract position)

You will assist in the development and implementation of strategies and partnerships in key markets. Besides possessing good interpersonal and writing skills, you should be detail-oriented and able to multi-task on various projects. You will also be required to manage direct and digital engagement campaigns as well as key branding functions for the 2017 FORMULA 1 SINGAPORE AIRLINES SINGAPORE GRAND PRIX.

Key Requirements:

• At least five years’ experience for Marketing Manager and three years' experience for Senior Marketing Executive in a global marketing role with preference for lifestyle, luxury, sports or event marketing.
• Able to commit to the role from April to October 2017.

Ticketing Coordinators
(Contract position)

3 contract positions:
(1) April to October
(2) June to October
(3) July to September

You will support the Ticketing Team by managing in-house ticketing operations, respond to customer enquiries, process ticket bookings and facilitate ticket fulfilment. In addition, you will provide sales and logistics support for ticket orders from corporate groups, VIP clients and overseas travel agents.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in a customer service / administrative role preferred.
• Good written and communications skills with the ability to handle customers and vendors.
• Strong team player who is proactive, meticulous, resourceful and willing to learn.
• Able to work under deadline pressure, quick thinker and an effective problem solver.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Powerpoint, Excel and Word).
• Willing to work long hours, on shift and weekends.

Accreditation Coordinator
(Contract position – April to October)

A key member of the Accreditation team, you will be required to work with key partners and stakeholders to ensure all qualified personnel are accredited with the proper access passes and decals. You will also work with third-party vendors in the enhancement and development process of the accreditation system.

• Good interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to handle customers and third-party vendors.
• Strong team player who is analytical, meticulous, resourceful and organised.
• Able to learn quickly and work independently.

Guest Support Officers
(Contract position)

You are required to support the hospitality and customer service team in the Formula One Paddock Club, Sky and Club Suites, as well as The Green Room. Applicants should demonstrate excellent social and communication skills as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team. This position is only open to Singaporeans / Singapore PRs. Successful applicants will receive excellent remuneration benefits and will be undergo a full training programme.

Key Requirements:

• At least 2 years of customer service experience (applicants from the hospitality and finance industry are welcome)
• The willingness to work long hours (expected working hours over a four-day period will total between 35 to 50 hours)
• Ability to work for 5 days over the race weekend (13 to 17 September 2017) and attend up to 1 full day of training in August 2017.
